1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the GuideX Chrome extension or accessing the GuideX website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

GuideX is an AI-powered visual step-by-step assistant that helps users navigate websites. The extension analyzes interactive elements on web pages and provides visual guidance including element highlighting and animated cursor positioning. GuideX does not perform any automated actions — all clicking and interaction is done by the user.

3. User Accounts

• You may use GuideX as a guest with limited free actions per day
• Creating an account provides additional actions and features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service

4. Usage Limits & Plans

GuideX offers different usage tiers:

• Guest: 2 free AI actions per day, no account required
• Free Plan: 6 AI actions per day with a registered account
• Plus Plan: 20 AI actions per day — ₹399/month
• Pro Plan: 50 AI actions per day — ₹899/month
• Enterprise Plan: 150 AI actions per day — ₹1,999/month

Usage limits reset daily at midnight (IST). We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Payment & Billing

5.1 Subscription Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method through Razorpay on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change our subscription prices from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email. Price changes will apply from the next billing cycle after the notice period.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

We offer refunds within 7 days of subscription purchase if you are not satisfied with our service. For complete details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard
• Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing period
• No partial refunds are given for unused portions of the billing period (except within the 7-day window)
• After cancellation, your account downgrades to the Free plan

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use GuideX to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
• Use the Service for any malicious, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Circumvent usage limits or authentication mechanisms
• Automate or script interactions with the extension beyond its intended use
• Use the Service to scrape, extract, or collect data from websites in violation of their terms

8. AI-Generated Content

The step-by-step guidance provided by GuideX is generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). Please note:

• AI-generated instructions may not always be accurate or complete
• We do not guarantee that the guidance will achieve your desired outcome
• You are responsible for verifying and reviewing any actions before performing them
• GuideX does not auto-click or auto-fill — all actions are performed by you

9. Intellectual Property

The GuideX extension, website, and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by GuideX and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

GuideX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the extension and requesting account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, by sending an email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
